Fundraiser Coordinator

Tommie Penneywell-Foster came to Haven of Hope City within a City grounded in the work helping others. Raised by her grandmother, she was brought up to give. Originally intending to be a career woman, Tommie’s path led her to working with the Labor of Love Church of God in Christ, Temple of Prayer, Salvation Army, Convoy of Hope and Emmanuel Ministries focusing on food service and generating donors.

She also is the President of Exfelon Anonymous, a non-profit organization dedicated to servicing ex-felons and aiding them in their return to society.

Tommie’s position at HOHCWC is Yearly Event Coordinator and Gift Coordinator, leading toy drives for the past two years and serving over 100 children each year. Working with the entire team, she creates yearly events of giving and facilitates gifts from donors year round.
