According to her mother, Cora Hardy was born a social worker. As a child, she could be found brokering peace on the playground. Growing up and into adulthood, she volunteered for various shelters and hospice organizations as well as the Red Cross.
Her education was spent, naturally, becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. With experience in retail working in Human Resources, Cora has always been involved in the betterment of the lives of others by using what she calls her greatest gift, her ability to listen.
Committed to achieving permanent, loving families for children, Cora has been involved with Haven of Hope, City Within a City from the beginning. Using all of her experiences she contributes technical advising to HOHCWC. Her favorite challenge is to find ways to inspire others to learn to problem solve.
